Come with us to explore evidence for an ancient lost civilization, and ask what information they may have left behind for us.

Ancient Cycles Tour of Egypt

November 25th-December 8th, 2024

Tour Highlights

Private guided tour of The Great Pyramid

Your group will have private access to The Great Pyramid, after the plateau closes to the general public. We will be able to explore The entire pyramid, instead of only the Kings Chamber that the public has access to. No lines. No crowds.

Private guided tour of The Sphinx Enclosure

Your group will have private access to the Enclosure of the Sphinx, which is off limits to the public. If you visit the Sphinx on your own, you have to stand in a large crowd above the enclosure. On our tour, we can stand between the paws of the Sphinx.

Exclusive Access to Abu Ghurab

Abu Ghurab is an amazing site which holds the infamous crystal bowls. This site is closed to public access, but we have received permission to visit.

Exclusive Access to Abu Sir

Abu Sir is also closed to public access, and is often overlooked, but this location has a stunning number of cylindrical drill holes around the site, as well as countless other indicators of machine tooling. We are so excited to have received access to this rarely seen gem of ancient Egypt.

Private 5-Day Nile Cruise

It’s not explicitly stated, but most tours are going to put you on a huge cruise ship with hundreds of other passengers. On the Nile you’ll see a dozen or more cruise ships all sailing together. They all dock at the same sites at the same time. This means when you arrive to see a temple you’re arriving with thousands of other people. Its crowded, noisy, and in order to keep the cruise ships schedule, your visit is brief. Unless a tour group specifically states that they have chartered a private ship, it’s almost guaranteed that will be your experience. And on that note… we have chartered a private Dahabeya! Cruise the Nile in comfort with us, and see the temples without the crowds.

Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride Over Luxor

If you want to truly feel the magic that encompasses the Valley of the Kings, and the Luxor region, you’ve got to take a hot air balloon ride. Ascending at sunrise, it really is something you have to experience to understand. Now, if you don’t want to ride them, you can skip this activity. However, I will say, overcoming a fear in Egypt can make for a spectacular story.

Professional Photographer on Tour With You

Virtually every photo on this site was taken by our co-founder, who attended college for Multi-media art with a concentration in Photography, and she will be on tour with you. Snapping keepsake memories for you. She’ll shoot candid photos of the group everyday, and can take photos as requested. Feel free to enjoy the experience knowing she’s got the keepsakes covered.

Featuring

Sohaila Hussein

Egyptologist

Symbolist Trained by

John Anthony West

Egyptian born, licensed tour guide, Sohaila Hussein leads a tour of the ancient sites like no one else. Sohaila was the Egyptian tour guide who worked with the wonderful John Anthony West for over 30 years.

John Anthony West along with Sohaila lead tours with what is called a “symbolist” approach. This involved teaching guests an understanding of the ancient mysteries based on what is in plain view but overlooked at all of Egypt’s temples and sites. Sohaila continues the symbolist tradition to this day, though John Anthony West is no longer with us.

Unlike most other tour guides, Sohaila Hussein takes the time to dig deep into the history of the sight. She explores with you the hidden messages behind the hieroglyphs carved into the walls, giving you an understanding of the true meaning of the wall carvings, which were only known by the scribes, priests and rulers of ancient Egypt.

You will be given the opportunity to experience a taste of what the ancients experienced when they were initiated and exposed to the hidden mysteries that dwell in each site.
