INTEGRATION

We believe proper integration is as important as the ceremonies you experience. This is why we focus so much on integration, support and community.

Ayahuasca Integration

When you book a retreat with us the work does not end with the last ceremony. A few days after your retreat closes, your group will have a zoom call with our integration specialist. This call will last around two hours and provide you with the framework upon which to begin your integration work. Your retreat group will have a second integration call about a week later to expand this framework and check in on your first weeks progress.

Our integration specialist will continue to work with you as long as is needed. She holds weekly calls which are open to anyone who has sat with us in ceremony previously. She also has a background in the mental health profession working as a licensed counselor and can be booked privately for one-one integration or therapy sessions.

Support

Three weeks before every retreat, we start a group chat on telegram (a free encrypted messaging app.) This group chat includes all retreat guests and facilitators and the chat will run until two weeks after the retreat ends. Any questions or concerns that arise in this time can be quickly addressed publicly for the entire group. The group chat also provides a container for guests to get to know one another, figure out carpooling, and quite simply feel supported throughout this process.

During the retreats we have “share circles” in which guests are encouraged to share their experiences with the medicine. Often times the simple act of verbalizing our personal process can add clarity. This also provides opportunities for guests to show their support for one another following their individual moments of vulnerability.

Ayahuasca Community

Of course the aforementioned group chats, share circles, and weekly integration calls help to foster a feeling of community. But, we don’t stop there. After completing one of our retreats you will be invited to join our private facebook group. This group is only open to those who have sat in ceremony with us. The “butterfly family” group provides an ongoing container for guests to express their experiences (and of course, post lots of memes.) Whether you’ve had a milestone breakthrough or hit a wall, the facebook group is a community of like minded individuals who are ready and willing to hear you, see you, and support you.

Additionally, once a year we have our “Annual Butterfly Family Reunion” which is a camping weekend open to previous guests and a plus one. This is an opportunity to meet people from different retreats and spend time outside of ceremony with the community.
